- Appeared with a radiant and noble crown, this is the very first time Miss Venezuela had the news conference as a Miss World. Besides an irresistible charm, Dayana Mendoza, the new Miss Universe 2008 left deep impression on reporters when she played a role as a translator successfully.

With a luxurious, charming yellow evening dress which made her brown healthy skin standing out from a crowd, the new Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza, the beauty from Venezuela was still astonished to hear about her coronation. However, with self-confidence and professional manner of a super model, Miss Universe proved to be very flexible with questions from reporters.

There were a lot of foreign reporters from Latin America appeared in the news conference. Therefore, Miss Universe was the main subject of those pressmen. She had expressed excellently the role of a translator which was a great help for reporters, especially Vietnamese journalists.

- Congratuation the new Miss Universe 2008. Can you tell us your feeling when you was crownded?

- To tell the truth, it is an unexpressible feeling which I myself don’t even know for sure. But at this moment, I’m flooded with happiness, joy…and excitement.

- What’s your plan after the coronation?

- I don’t know for sure. MUO people and the chair woman of Miss Universe association, Ms Paula Shugart have a clearer view about it than I do. Maybe I’ll fly back to New York, participate in activities and perform my mission, within the scope of  Miss Universe.

- What is the motivation which leads you to the crown of Miss Universe 2008? What makes you become special and different from other candidates?

- I believe that the confident and the specific characteristics of my home country, Venezuela, play an important role in promoting me to this success. Moreover, the support from audiences not only from Venezuela but also all over the world is the great encouragement for me in such a  long way. My family, my friends and relations in Venezuela are with me in the way to success.

- As a role of Miss Universe 2008, you now become the representative of woman all over the world and you will have effect on youngsters. What do you want to tell them?

- Be confident, dream and try your best. But the most important: always be yourself and optimistic

- When you come back to your home country, what will you tell about Vietnam with Venezuela citizens?

- I had a very beautiful time with a lot of memories in every cities I went through in Vietnam. The sunshine, the wind , the beautiful lanscapes and lovely friends are my ever lasting memories.

Right at this place, Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa, Dayana Mendoza had marked a turning point in her life. Becoming the most beautiful woman in the world with a lot of new missions which are supposed to be hard and difficult, but overall, she possesses the sacredness and the honour that every girls dream of. A new prospect, a new life are opening vastly for the 22-year-old girl from Venezuela.
