- Being one of the most intensive face of newspaper and magazines, this morning ,Thuy Lam Nguyen appeared in the interview of Newspapers and Magazines Centre for Miss Universe 2008. Beautiful and young, ThuyLam proved her great abilities for a representative of Vietnam.

- Hi ThuyLam, how do you feel after the contest last night? 

- Last night, during the evening dress round, Lam actually did not perform naturally because of the dress that rather clung to my body. However, as a result of being familiar with performances and receiving support from the audiences , Lam was really confident. All of big hand claps with huge support made me stable and firmly believe.

 - Last night, your evening dress had made a really good impression in audiences, did you prepare  any other customs for evening gown?

- According to the organizers, top 15 Misses will continue to perform in bikinis and top of 10 compete with evening dress. Almost contestants will wear their only evening custom from now to the end of the contest. However, with hope to bring more surprise to the audiences, I have also prepared one more dress.

- As Newspapers and Magazines knew, ThuyLam is not very well?

- Yes, As the Miss of the host country, I have to take part in almost activities while the others can be divided to join some.

Moreover, practice time is always in hurry and limited. Two days ago, Lam had a flu and compulsorily, I couldn’t appear in the Charity Gala  night even I really loved to . However, my health is well now and I’m ready for all the following nights of the contest.

- Are you confident to be one of top 15 Misses?

- It’s really difficult to say anything in the future, but Lam gets confidence and I will try my best to compete and finish my role. Actually, the most support, also the most strength I have got was from Vietnamese audiences. These things made me more confident.

-  Among contestants, who do you like most?  

- Well, Lam feel impressed and admired Miss El Salvador. She is the shortest Miss and sometimes she is hidden from view by others Misses, however,  she is always confident and friendly with other people. It makes her shine among Beauties who are outstanding for their height.

- As the representative for the host country, what did you do to introduce our country’s image to foreign friends?

- Lam tried my best to introduce to them Vietnam’s most beautiful images and specific characteristics. I hope that after the contest is over, they will bring home their best impressions about Vietnam and our people.

 - Voting for Best National Costume contest has already begun. What would you like to tell the readers?

 - I hope you will vote for me, vote for Vietnam because Vu Khuc Hac deserves it.

 - Thanks for sharing. Beside stories about Miss Universe, would you mind sharing us and readers, your fans a little about your private life, for example, love?

- In my opinion, the most important thing in love is trusting each other. It needs time to grow up and support from family and friends. I am aiming to such a love like that.
